RIVER RAFTING

Your stay at Breakaway Trails is incomplete without a rafting expedition.

Experience 4-5 hours on the Orange River in four-man Rubber ducks. A combination of excitement and relaxation. This is an experience not to be missed, made safe by the use of lifejackets. Getting closer to nature is difficult as you are forced to visit with the fish eagle, Reebuck and baboon, and view some of the most beautiful rock formations. Have a refreshing swim and enjoy a picnic with your host at the end point.

The more adventurous can do the day-night trip. You will depart with your guide the first day and spend the evening under the stars on the riverbed next to the hotsprings. The next day your journey ends on a nearby game farm.
